Turning March Sadness into April Gladness

 

Looking for a way to test your basketball trivia knowledge? Answer our version of a Hoops bracket challenge. There will be 4 rounds of questions for you to enter in and answer, with a weekly prize awarded to the person with the highest points for each round. There will also be an overall winner for whomever has the highest point total for all of the rounds combined. In the event of a tie for any of the rounds or the overall point leader, a random drawing will be done to determine the winner. The rounds are as follows: The Sensational 16, The Excellent 8, The Fabulous 4 and The Final Showdown. Feel free to enter all of the rounds, and even if you miss one, you might still win the rounds that you are able to enter.

How does it work?

It works like this - each week will be a new round of questions. Come back and test your knowledge each week to have a chance to win the round AND be the overall winner if you have the most points!

 

When does the contest start?

• Round 1 – Sensational 16 will start on 4/2/20, you will have until April 15 by 5pm to answer the questions. The winner of the round will be in The North Platte Telegraph’s Sunday, April 19 publication and the leaderboard will be updated on the Contest website on Monday April 20.

• Round 2 – The Excellent 8 will start on 4/16/20, you will have until April 22 by 5pm to answer the questions. The winner of the round will be in the North Platte Telegraph’s Sunday, April 26 publication and the leaderboard will be updated on the contest website on Monday April 27.

• Round 3 – The Fabulous 4 will start on 4/23/20, you will have until April 29 by 5pm to answer the questions. The winner of the round will be in the North Platte Telegraph’s Sunday, May 3 publication and the leaderboard will be updated on the contest website on Monday May 4.

• Round 4 – The Final Showdown will start on 4/30/20, you will have until May 6 by 5pm to answer the questions. The winner of the round will be in the North Platte Telegraph’s Sunday, May 10 publication and the leaderboard will be updated on the contest website on Monday May 11.
